«Minteke» deposit

Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC has License 7412 SR dated October 30, 2023 for exploration and License 7413 CE dated October 30, 2023 for the development of the Minteke field.

The size of the licensed area is 162 hectares.

The Minteke deposit is located in the watershed part of the Fergana Range and administratively belongs to the Toguz-Torous and Suzak districts of the Jalal-Abad region.

The length of the route from the field to the regional center of Toguz-Toro district Kazarman village is 50 km, the city of Naryn is 260 km, and the Balykchy railway station is 350 km.

At the Minteke deposit, 9 coal seams have been identified, 8 of which have an industrial thickness of 0.5 to 3.7 meters.

Coal reserves of the Minteke deposit estimated based on the results of prospecting and appraisal work carried out in 1994 -1996 and approved by the State Reserves Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic in categories C1+C2 amount of 3.3 million tons. Within the license area issued by Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC, coal reserves approved by the State Reserves Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic in categories C1+C2 amount of 1.4 million tons.
