The size of the licensed area is 42,379 hectares.

The deposit is administratively related to the city of Balykchi in the Issyk-Kul region and the Kochkor district in the Naryn region.

The largest nearby settlement is the city and port of Balykchy (40 km) on the western coast of Lake Issyk-Kul and the city of Kochkor located 25 km away.

Absolute marks on average are 2000 meters, absolute heights do not exceed 3200 m.

In the eastern part of the Tash-Bulak placer there is an asphalt road Bishkek-Kochkor and further to the city of Naryn along the route through the Kuvaky pass there are two high-voltage power lines-110 and power lines 500 Datka-Kemin.

The group of placers of the Tash-Bulak deposit includes the Tashbulak, Bake, Uzunsai, Ottuk, Tyundyuk sites. One of the placers (Tash-Bulak) is prepared for development, the rest require additional exploration.

Useful components of the placer are minerals: uranium, thorium, zircon, titanomagnetite and phosphorus.

In addition to uranium, thorium and zirconium, the processing of ore is planned to produce titanomagnetite concentrate. The deposit reserves of titanomagnetite (C1+ C2+ P1+ P) are 14 million tons.

The average titanomagnetite content at the Tash-Bulak placer is 17.0 kg/m3 (7.8 kg/t).

Titanomagnetite contains 55% iron, 17% titanium, and no uranium. The total iron content in titanomagnetite concentrate is 60%, and titanium dioxide is 13.6%.
